About Aaron

I am an embodied practitioner, which means I use the body as much as the mind to help people. If the mind is a top-down approach, going through thoughts to discover what lies beneath, then the body is a bottom-up approach, using body sensations to explore what needs to be surfaced.

I use a combination of 1-1 breathwork and psychotherapy and coaching to help people reconnect to themselves, heal trauma, and transform experiences of dis-ease into opportunities for growth. I have found there is a power in breathing with others, and I also facilitate community breathwork groups.

My work is grounded in decades of self-reflection, therapy, and exploration of expanded states of consciousness. At the heart of my practice lies a core fascination: what makes life meaningful?

I bring over 20 years of experience in mental health as a psychotherapist, researcher, and innovator. In this time I have published over 30 peer-reviewed academic papers and chapters in mental health.

I helped build and scale Kooth, an international digital mental health platform for young people. This work made therapy accessible to millions of individuals across the UK and US. As a senior leader, I learned to navigate complex challenges while coaching others to achieve their full potential.

I also learned how to navigate myself towards meaning and connection, using this powerful tool of breathwork to help me uncover my life's purpose. For me, a big part of this is supporting others to realise who they are and who they can be by strengthening this mind-body connection, enabling a deeper understanding of ourselves.

I left the sessions feeling more present, centred, and in tune with myself."

"It was unthreatening and safe. The best part for me was your grounding gentle presence—it made it easy to relax and trust the process. You struck a great balance between giving guidance and allowing space for personal experience."

"I really appreciated the calm and supportive way you guided the sessions. Your instructions were clear and well-paced, which made it easy to stay present and engaged. I also liked how you created a safe and open space, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the breathwork without feeling rushed or pressured."
