My interest in couples and relational work grew steadily over the years. I am drawn to the places where love and protection get tangled — where partners find themselves in cycles of pursuit and withdrawal, closeness and fear. I care about helping people understand these patterns without blame, and about supporting repair where trust or safety has been shaken.
Breathwork and embodied practice became part of my development as a way of deepening therapeutic work rather than replacing it. I became increasingly aware that insight alone is not always enough; the body often carries what the mind cannot fully articulate. Working with breath and embodied awareness has shaped how I understand regulation, intimacy, and integration. My interest in tantra and consent-based relational work also grew from this place: not as something exotic, but as a serious exploration of intimacy, power, desire, and safety. These strands inform my work, always within a trauma-aware, ethical frame.
I don’t see myself as someone who fixes people. I see myself as someone who can sit steadily in complexity — with grief, shame, sexuality, confusion, anger, longing — without needing it to resolve too quickly. Therapy, for me, is about creating enough safety for something new to emerge.
At heart, I remain curious — about attachment, about meaning, and about what becomes possible when we feel genuinely met.

About Aaron
I came into this work through a longstanding curiosity about why we struggle in the ways we do — particularly in relationships — and what genuinely supports change. Over time, that curiosity became both professional and personal. I have always been interested in the tension between competence and vulnerability and in the patterns we repeat even when we consciously want something different.
For over twenty years I’ve worked in mental health as a psychotherapist, researcher, and leader. I trained in integrative psychotherapy with strong humanistic and Gestalt roots, and later deepened my work through relational and attachment-based approaches. Alongside clinical practice, I published research and helped build Kooth, a digital mental health service reaching millions of young people. That chapter taught me about complexity and systems — but also reinforced how much healing depends on presence, safety, and relationship.

"Aaron’s facilitation created a space where I felt safe to fully engage with where my breath was inviting me to go. At a time when I am experiencing some challenging life questions, the pacing and guidance struck the perfect balance between structure and personal exploration. I left the sessions feeling more present, centred, and in tune with myself."
"It was unthreatening and safe. The best part for me was your grounding gentle presence—it made it easy to relax and trust the process. You struck a great balance between giving guidance and allowing space for personal experience."
"Taking part in this warm and nurturing conscious breathwork session was a truly enriching experience and I felt a sense of deep relaxation and release. I left feeling lighter, more grounded, and with a renewed sense of clarity."
"Your kindness and generous spirit helped reframe some things for me. You modelled more loving responses to what was coming up and I can definitely learn from that."
"I really appreciated the calm and supportive way you guided the sessions. Your instructions were clear and well-paced, which made it easy to stay present and engaged. I also liked how you created a safe and open space, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the breathwork without feeling rushed or pressured."
